Hello and thank you so much for stopping by. My name is Danielle and I am so excited to share my love of food and cooking with you. The moniker Midwest Mama on a Mission was derived from my personal goal to improve my health and happiness through food and fitness. I am a mother of four little ones who is almost always running on fumes. However, I realized that putting myself on the backburner was simply not working anymore. Ever since I married my high school sweetheart at the age of 18, I have developed such a love for creating delicious dishes, using fresh ingredients, and sharing my food with those that I love. My mission is to continue feeding my belly and my soul with all things wonderful. I hope that I can inspire others to do the same.
